People often say that humans have always eaten animals, as if this is a justification for continuing the practice. According to this logic, we should not try to prevent people from murdering other people, since this has also been done since the earliest of times.

treekisser:

I’m so impressed by the passion and bravery of the Italian activists who freed 30 beagles from Green Hill, a massive, hellish breeding farm that supplies dogs to vivisection labs.

Because of their loving and forgiving nature, beagles are commonly tested on all across the world (notoriously by cigarette companies, with the exception of American Spirits). Unfortunately, a few of the beagles were confiscated and returned to their prison, but they will not be forgotten. My hope is that their story and their sacrifice will be shared and publicized so that people will open their hearts and eyes and stand up against unreliable, unjustified animal testing

Please sign the petition demanding the closure of Green Hill and the release of their 2500 lonely, suffering dogs.

Keep being awesome, Italians.

Anderson meets Meow, the 37-lb cat (the equivalent of a 600-lb person), today on “Anderson.”

“Humourous” documentation of ongoing animal cruelty (or neglect, at the very least). If a cat is this overweight, there is a BIG problem.

Not cute at all. I feel horrible for this animal.

The first step to reaching solutions is properly acknowledging & assessing problems. In my latest post (entitled ‘Earthlings & Politics of Veganism’), I have included a FREE full-length stream of the film (courtesy of Earthlings mission to widely share vital knowledge).
